Today I renewed my library card. It’s been over two years since I have used it. Why on earth have I let it go so long?! Hmmm. I just don’t know. Honestly, I have no idea. I am a person who loves books and absolutely loves reading. There is no excuse for not going to the library. I’ve been reading all this time, but I have been buying books and/or borrowing from friends. Well, with the tight economic times, I figured I needed a better solution. And, what better solution than the library?! All the books I could ever read and they’re free. So cool!! Of course I’ll still purchase books now and then, but I’m really happy to be a renewed member of the library again. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to join your local public library. Let your kids join too.
